Planning a destination wedding in France is exciting, romantic—and let’s be honest, a little overwhelming. Between time zones, language barriers, cultural differences, and figuring out which season the peonies actually bloom, it’s easy for couples to feel a bit lost. That’s where I come in.
As a wedding florist living in France, I bring more than just flower knowledge—I bring reassurance, support, and a deep understanding of what it means to get married in a foreign country. My approach is about designing wedding flowers that reflect you, while helping you feel calm, informed, and confident every step of the way.
At The Painted Bouquet, every couple I work with receives a personalized, hands-on experience. Whether you’re planning a château wedding in the Loire Valley, an intimate elopement in Provence, or a stylish celebration in Paris, my process begins with connection. I take time to listen—to your story, your style, your priorities—and then build a floral design plan that brings it all to life with beauty and ease.
But floral design is just the beginning. Because I live and work here in France, I’m able to offer couples something even more valuable: local insight and honest advice. I know which flowers are in season (and which ones are only in Pinterest dreams), how to communicate with venues and vendors, and how to pivot gracefully when plans shift—as they often do.
Many of my couples are planning from the U.S., the U.K., or beyond, and I know how much trust that requires. So I make communication a top priority. I’m here not just to design your bouquet, but to be a resource, an encourager, and sometimes even a translator of both French and wedding industry quirks.
My goal is always the same: to make your wedding day feel effortless, stunning, and true to you. From lush, romantic ceremony installations to elegant bridal bouquets and floral details that make guests stop and stare, I create florals that elevate your celebration—and reflect your story.
And yes, I do it all while keeping the vibe relaxed, professional, and (when appropriate) a little bit fun. Because while weddings are beautiful, they should also be joyful—and your florist should help create that feeling from day one.
